Śrīmad Bhāgavatam 2.2.9

prasanna-vaktraḿ nalināyatekṣaṇaḿ

kadamba-kiñjalka-piśańga-vāsasam

lasan-mahā-ratna-hiraṇmayāńgadaḿ

sphuran-mahā-ratna-kirīṭa-kuṇḍalam

SYNONYMS

prasanna — expresses happiness; vaktram — mouth; nalina-āyata — spread like the petals of a lotus; īkṣaṇam — eyes; kadamba — kadamba flower; kiñjalka — saffron; piśańga — yellow; vāsasam — garments; lasat — hanging; mahā-ratna — valuable jewels; hiraṇmaya — made of gold; ańgadam — ornament; sphurat — glowing; mahā-ratna — valuable jewels; kirīṭa — head dress; kuṇḍalam — earrings.

TRANSLATION

His mouth expresses His happiness. His eyes spread like the petals of a lotus, and His garments, yellowish like the saffron of a kadamba flower, are bedecked with valuable jewels. His ornaments are all made of gold, set with jewels, and He wears a glowing head dress and earrings.
